The major international festivals have announced that they will cooperate with each other this year instead of competition.
Venice, Toronto, Telluride and New York film festivals are to unify powers this year to introduce the best of cinema altogether.
Venice Film Festival is one of the oldest film festivals in the world and one of the most important film events in Europe.
The 77th edition of the event will be held on September 2-12, 2020.
According to the event’s website, the Toronto International Film Festival is one of the most beloved cinematic events in the world, universally regarded as an ideal platform for filmmakers to launch their careers and to premiere their new works.
The 2020 edition of the event will launch on September 10-20.
The Telluride Film Festival (TFF) is a film festival held annually in Telluride, Colorado.
The bulk of the program is made up of new films, and there is an informal tradition that new films must be shown for the first time in North America to be eligible for the festival.
The 46th edition of the event was slated for August 30 - September 2, 2020.
“Since 1963, the New York Film Festival has brought new and important cinematic works from around the world to Lincoln Center,” the official website of the event wrote.
The 57th edition of New York Film Festival is scheduled for September 27 – October 13, 2020.
